Iranian miniature with a standing youth and a seated dervish or beggar

The miniature depicts a standing youth, richly dressed with a turban and colorful sashes around his waist, holding onto a small tree in bloom. Next to him sits a dervish or beggar. His head is shaved and he wears a simple garment. In his right hand he holds a cup. In front of him on the ground lie a gourd, a fruit, and a headgear (?) with a sash around it. All this against a simple background with floral motifs. The frame consists of a simple double border with a wide surrounding border featuring a gold image of a landscape containing a large feline (tiger or lion?) and four deer fleeing in fright.
