About this work
Round half-relief, pierced work, depicting a small winged Bacchus sitting on the back of an eagle, left hand raised with a bunch of grapes; surrounded by acanthus leaves and rocaille motifs with grape clusters; in a circle decorated with rocaille motifs. Reverse side painted red with traces of gold paint, a hanging eye, at the top center with a piece of copper wire attached.
