About this work

Battle of Oosterweel, 13 March 1567. The fighting in front of the village of Oosterweel outside Antwerp. The Calvinists led by Jan van Marnix are defeated by the troops of the Duke of Aremberg and Philips van Lanoy. To the right the Scheldt. At the top a large banner with the inscription on both sides of a crowned coat of arms.
