About this work

Silver medal. Obverse: Dutch maiden with scepter and spear trampling Envy, who lies on the ground between a lion and a lamb, with the burning of the English fleet at Chatham in the background within an inscription. Reverse: Dutch maiden holding a sword with an olive wreath in one hand and a caduceus and cornucopia in the other, standing on armor, with merchant ships in the background; above, a hand from the clouds holds two bound shields and a pennant with an inscription; rim inscription.
