About this work
Tin medal. Obverse: Pallas with three scepters and a field sign trampling Mars lying on the ground, standing on a pedestal between a horse and an altar, upon which a snake burns within an inscription. Reverse: a crowned woman with an olive branch and Mercury's staff, representing the city of Amsterdam, standing between bound Envy and Mars, illuminated by heavenly light within an inscription.
