Silver medal. Obverse: the Netherlands, depicted as a crowned woman sitting within an enclosed garden with her arm leaning on a ship's anchor, next to her a lion with seven arrows; Mars with a drawn sword standing before drums and flags, and Mercury with his staff standing before merchant goods and a ship being unloaded, jointly holding a liberty cap above her head within an inscription; truncation: inscription. Reverse: helmeted goddess of war with a spear in her hand, with an army conducting exercises in the background within an inscription; truncation: inscription.
