About this work

Beautifully detailed construction and waterline model of a stern. Elliptical stern of one story, no side galleries. The upper deck has a diagonal cross-bracing in the web; on the upper deck, a loose superstructure containing cupboards, two closets with drainage leading into the wale, and a staircase. The intermediate deck is provided with casings with doors and windows. The mizzenmast (sawn off) stands on a track on the intermediate deck. Mizzen stays with eight jigger blocks. Straight rudder with square rudder trunk in a triangular ventilator. The sternpost rises slightly aft, one sunken keelson.
