Model of Two Congreve Rockets with Launching Gear

Model of two fire rockets on a launching device or chair, for land use. Made of light-colored wood. The rockets themselves consist of a pointed cylinder with a long stabilizing stick attached to the side. The chair consists of a ladder-shaped frame that, together with two legs, forms a tripod; a loop ring is attached to the front of the frame, which can be wrapped around the bowsprit of a skiff to guide the movement of the frame when raising and lowering for aiming and loading, and is equipped with a fall. On each leg of the frame, a metal chamber with a flintlock is mounted. The flintlocks have triggers with holes for a trigger cord; these are very long for this model. The locks are mirror images of each other, one left-handed, the other right-handed. The rocket heads are placed under two brackets in the chambers, the stabilizing rods inserted through brackets on the legs of the frame. The model is equipped with a match stick with a round bracket for a single match.
