About this work

Model of a top carriage for a 1-pounder cannon, to be used on the sled of a boat carriage. The rectangular body is rounded at the short ends and has eye bolts at the four corners. The cheeks are replaced by two metal supports connected by a bolt; the trunnion caps are closed by pins. Between the supports the windlass bolt is attached, at the rear an elevating screw is attached. Scale 1:2 (according to archives).
