Three Powder Chests

Three brass gunpowder chests of identical rectangular base but of different heights. On top they all have two eyes, placed in opposite corners, and the lock. The locks are each of a different type. The smallest chest has a double lock marked 1, of which the outer lid opens on a hinge and is closed with a large screw; the inner edge is filled with an unknown plastic. The inner lid is loose and has a ring on top. The largest chest has a single lid marked 2, of the same type as the outer lid of the smallest chest and the inner edge also lined with plastic. The chest of medium size has a double lock again, marked 3, the outer lid fitted with a bayonet lock and a hinge that gives the lid the opportunity to rotate; the inner lid is the same as in the smallest chest.
