About this work
Small wooden box with seven fuse tubes for pointed shells. Three tubes are double, once whole, once half of a longitudinally cut tube. These three pairs represent the following fuses: the Field service time-fuse (Armstrong tube type E), the Field service time and concussion-fuse (Armstrong tube type F), and the Armstrong Plain field service concussion-fuse. The seventh tube, without threads, is the Field service concussion-fuse (Armstrong tube type C), which could be used in combination with type E.
