About this work
Pointed 18 cm grenade, painted red. The grenade is 41.5 cm long and has a caliber of 175 mm. The grenade has two ringed studs for a rifled barrel with three rifling lands, and a canister of softer metal is cast into the base with a bursting charge. Three shallow holes are placed under the nose for the ammunition cock. The Palliser shell MK II 7 inch RML.
