About this work
Round mast with square top, topgallant yard with ears and platform. The mast itself consists of six parts: two heavy ones, one front and one back, form the masthead, connected inside with welds; a wide side on each side is also connected to the masthead with welds, and two narrow sides round off the whole. The parts are held together by hoops. The topgallant yard is a widening of the wide sides. At the level of the topgallant yard, the mast becomes square. A platform is attached to the front of the mast.
