About this work
Round bowsprit with shield and violin pieces. The bowsprit has eight cheeks, clamped with hoops against the cap. At approximately two-thirds of the length, two clamps for the shrouds are attached on both sides. On both sides there is a violin piece with a disc underneath. The shield has brackets for the sprit and the sprit stay; on the rear, eyes for the running shrouds and other shrouds are attached.
