About this work
Stacking model (port) of a two-masted sloop. Very sharp clipper stem. Overhanging stern; rudder with rounded blade. The bow rises forward. V-shaped underwater hull. The most striking feature of this model is the partially reinforced skin at the bow and around the waterline and just below; this reinforcement was specifically applied for sailing in polar regions.
