About this work

Polychromed planked moulded model (starboard side) of a two-masted ship. The deck is closed and surrounded by a railing, which is detailed on the inside. Sharp bowsprit, stem decorated with gilded foliage. Elliptical stern, surrounded by continuous railing, no side gallery, strongly falling sternpost; rudder with round rudder head (American rudder) and rounded rudder blade. Sheer almost flat, one sunken wainscot. Framed with round timbers, sharp underwater hull. Both masts lean aft. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
