About this work
Polychromed and fully planked model (starboard side) of a three-masted screw steamship. Nine ports on the upper deck. Straight, almost vertical stem with solid jester's ear on which a crossbeam; the figurehead is a scroll. Elliptical stern with the Dutch coat of arms; rudder with round rudder head. The distance between the sternpost and the rudderpost indicates the use of a screw light device. Keel rising forward, one rudder timber. Round frame. Scale 1:40 (Obreen).
