About this work

Polychromed, fully planked moulding model (starboard) of a two-masted paddle steamer. The model shows two gunports. The figurehead is a gilded scroll. Elliptical stern; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer's version), rudder blade rounded at the bottom. Paddle box covered with an inverted lifeboat. Fully flat sheer, two bark planks and a reed plank. Round framing. Scale 1:40 (derived).
