About this work

Polychromed, fully planked moulding model (starboard) of a three-masted paddle steamer. The model shows four gunports. The figurehead is a gilded scroll. Elliptical stern; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer's version), rudder blade angled at the bottom. Paddle box covered with an inverted lifeboat; grilles in front of and behind the paddle box; a chimney on deck. Fully flat sheer, a reed plank. Round framing. Scale 1:40 (Obreen).
