About this work

Polychromed and fully planked model (starboard side) of a three-masted screw steamship, with nine large and two small ports. Nearly vertical, straight stem with figurehead and curl as a bow ornament, composite crane beam. Elliptical stern with the Dutch coat of arms, Mangin screw and rudder with rudder cap. The model has a short quarterdeck, small poop deck, and a bridge across the main deck just forward of the retractable funnel. The model is equipped with all resting places with pendants. The sheer is nearly flat, a raking keel. Round frame. Scale 1:50 (scale on model).
