Half Model of a 12-Gun Brig

Polychromed plank-covered half-model (starboard side) of a two-master. Eight gunports plus two in the transom, all on one deck; the deck is closed. Bow elaborated with figurehead and stem figure of a gilded scroll, the crane beam is missing. Elliptical transom surrounded by an oval cord molding, with two gunports and half the coat of arms, no side galleries; rudder with round rudder head (American rudder) and rounded rudder blade. Sheer flat, the wale is sunk into the planking, one wainscot. Framed with round spars. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
