Half Model of a 4-Gun Schooner-Brig

Polychromed planked moulding model (starboard) of a two-masted vessel. The deck is closed and surrounded by a railing with two gunports; on the fore- and quarterdeck, the bulwark with hinged gates can be lowered. Sharp bowsprit. Elliptical stern, surrounded by continuous railing, no side gallery, strongly falling sternpost; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer's version) and rounded rudder blade. Stem nearly flat with rising bow, one sunken wale. Peaked round frame, sharp underwater hull. Both masts lean backward. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
