About this work

Round mast with square top, ears, side scales and riding bed, damaged. The mast itself consists of a mast cap surrounded by eight cheeks; four cheeks are very heavy, the four that fill the corners are very thin. The heavy cheeks at the front and back become thicker and widen at the level of the ears and form there the riding bed and the flat rear part; the heavy cheeks on the sides run all the way up, where together with the cap they form the square top. The cheeks and mast cap are connected with dowels and welds to prevent sliding; the hoop bands are painted. The side scales are extended and widened and form the ears. Scale 1:12 (scale on model).
