Construction model of the landward section of a ship's hull, on a baseboard. The building has a mansard roof with dormer windows and a sculpted facade decorated with pilasters; it has no walls but buttresses, and in the corners of the facade, solid towers with spiral staircases and round windows. The roofing on one side is omitted; on the other side, lead sheets are applied as tiles under the roof break, and large zinc plates above the break. A walkway with a balustrade is placed transversely just below the roof, with the coat of arms of the Netherlands in the center. Walkways are also placed longitudinally under the outer roof sections. Parts of the floor, which slopes like a ramp, can be removed to reveal the foundation. Scale 1:25 (Obreen).
