About this work
Sight or aiming device mounted against the back of the breech block, identical to MC-1889-24-B. The support is equipped with a hook that engages in a square recess in the breech block, and is tightened from the back with a screw. A short square iron rod, pyramid-shaped on top with grooves through the top; can move vertically back and forth. The sight rod has two scales on opposite sides, one ranging from 0 to 5, the other from 0 to 4.5.
