About this work
Model of a cooling sail. The upper piece consists of a hoop covered with cloth and an opening for the intake of air. This object was found without a number and the identification remains uncertain. In the transfer papers of 1889, only a 'cooling sail' is mentioned. It corresponds to the two other models of cooling sails in the collection, but it appears very incomplete.
