About this work

Polychrome model of a section of a composite ship's camel, painted in black, white, and red. It is a section with a longitudinal watertight bulkhead, extending over two pumps, two windlasses, two scuppers for flooding, and two hatches. The back can be opened and shows the chutes through which the tackles of the windlasses are led to the underside of the camel, the pump, and the scupper.
