Half Model of an 8-Gun Brig

Polychromed half-model (starboard side) of a two-masted ship. Bow worked out with figurehead and stem figure of a gilded scroll. Planking above the wale is closed, five painted gunports on one deck. Twisted stern, hollow wale, stern with one light and projecting beyond the hull, no side gallery; straight rudder with square rudder head. Stern nearly flat, one wale and one sheer strake. The model has two masts with all rigging blocks. Framed round stern. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
