Half Model of a 14-Gun Brig

Polychromed half-model (starboard side) of a two-masted ship. Planking above the wale is closed, eight painted gunports on one deck. Bow worked out with figurehead and stem figure of a gilded scroll, the crane beam missing. Twisted stern, hollow wale, stern with frame and half coat of arms, no side gallery; rudder with round rudder head (Soetermeer version). Stern nearly flat, one wale and one sheer strake. Framed round stern. Both masts lean considerably aft. Scale 1:40 (scale on model).
