Half Model of a 1-Gun Schooner Gunboat

Polychromed moulding model (starboard) of a two-masted vessel. The planking above the wale is closed. The stem is low and provides space for a cannon on a carriage in the bow. The deck is closed and has indentations for fifteen oar benches, with fifteen oarlocks on the gunwale; the quarterdeck is lowered and has a bench in the side like in a cabin. Flat stern; straight rudder with tiller in the cabin. Stem rising at both ends, one oak and one elm. Peaked round frame, low and flat, sharp in bow and stern.
