About this work
Polychromed moulding model on supports, with battens instead of solid planking. It is a pointed stern flat-bottomed boat with a straight stem, the sheer rising forward; simple rudder with the tiller missing. The model has a large, sloping forward deck, which served as a gun platform. Behind this deck are four loose hatches with a raised floor beneath. On the gun deck are ten oarlocks.
