About this work
Model of a paddle wheel with six moving boards. The model is painted black and white. The paddle wheel consists only of spokes and boards. A circular rail with the same diameter as the paddle wheel is mounted eccentrically against the ship's side relative to the paddle wheel. The axle of each board is provided with a crank, which runs in the groove of these rails and thus makes the boards turn. The model can be moved with a crank. Scale 1:20 (derived).
