About this work
Model of a four-bladed screw that can be changed into a two-bladed one. The hub has a coupling piece with a cam on the front, indicating that the screw could be disengaged without pushing the screw shaft into the ship. The front screw sits loosely on a thread on the hub with just enough play to rotate ninety degrees; the rear screw is fixed through the hub with a pin. The pitch is 13.1 cm. Scale 1:20 (estimate).
