About this work

Model of a fan operating as a double bellows. A part of the cover can be removed to show the interior. In the body, shaped like a circular segment on its point, a plank moves back and forth, hinged at the point. The plank is pulled by ropes on both sides. Simple vents consisting of a wooden valve on each side allow air to enter alternately. When air is compressed on one side, it is expelled via a similar vent at the top into a round ventilation duct, one mounted on each side.
