About this work
Half-model and block model of a forepart of a ship above the waterline, on which an anchor fall is demonstrated. The anchor and anchor rope are missing. The anchor must be hung in two chains, which are reeved onto a fall mechanism against the side of the ship; when this is released, the chains open and let go of the anchor.
