About this work
Model of a skiff. The model demonstrates the skiff's fall in the bottom of the skiff, where two hooks are released from the tackle of the davits by means of a lever in the center. The skiff is a smooth-sided double-oared skiff with a flat stern, peaked round frame, and rising sheer to both ends; it has seven thwart holes plus two extra heavy thwart holes for the hooks.
