Model of a 44-Gun Ship of the Line

Rigged frame model. Twenty-nine of the forty-four gun models are missing; forty-two gun ports distributed over two decks. Four levels: poop deck (web), lower deck, middle deck, louse deck and forecastle deck and half-deck with walkways (missing); parts of the decks can be removed. The figurehead is a crowned lion with a lily between the forepaws, a galley with carving of waves. Twisted transom, hollow wulf with two ports, stern of one storey with sliding windows and carving of pilasters, scrollwork, trophy of arms, and a coat of arms carried by two figures; side galleries of one storey with sliding window. Straight rudder with square rudder head, no capstan, steering wheel on the half-deck. The model is equipped with two anchors, an anchor bitt, a double capstan, two chain pumps, a table, a galley with a Y-shaped chimney, a compass house, and a ship's bell. Parts of the hull can be removed, there is a hole in the keel.
