Model of a Polacre

Polychrome, rigged frame model of a three-master. The model has three decks, parts of which can be removed: lower deck, main deck, and cabin above the cabin. The figurehead is replaced by a gilded knob, on either side of the stem a golden snake. Twisted transom, hollow wulf, stern of one storey decorated with pilasters, the inscription, foliage, trophy of arms, and the coat of arms of the Kingdom; no side galleries, the sides decorated with trophies; straight rudder with square rudder head, steering wheel behind the mizzen mast. The model has an anchor, a capstan, and the cabin is furnished; railing with nets on the figurehead and cabin deck. The sheer rises at both ends, two oak planks and one elm plank; meander band between elm and oak plank. Peaked round frame. The main and mizzen masts are continuous. Three-masted polacca rig with sails and some peculiarities: the cross-tree of the mizzen mast has an old, round donkey's head, the mizzen mast has a gaff.
