About this work

Flintlock on a wooden model of the cascabel of a 30-pound carronade. The lock has a brass case with iron lock mechanism, hammer, and pan cover. The lock is mounted on the right side of the touchhole with a pin in the lock support and a bolt running through it. The pan and pan cover are short; the pan has a hole through which the flame is directed to the touchhole. The lanyard is original.
