Model of a 30-pounder carronade on a carriage on a ship's deck section, incomplete. The barrel is 34.5 cm long and has a caliber of 37 mm; it is equipped with a cascabel ring, an elevating screw through the flat grape with rain cap, a sight on the trunnion band and an experimental percussion lock with a perforated hammer to prevent backblast from the flash hole. The wheeled carriage consists of two narrow cheeks, connected by a knee in the middle, the rear axle box and the front axle, which also serves as the trunnion pin. A third axle is attached in front of the front axle, to which the bridle chain, a kind of cascabel chain, is attached, which is fixed on the other side to the swivel bolt in the port threshold. The rear axle box has a slot for the elevating screw; this can be raised with a block also with a slot.
