About this work
Model of an optical telegraph, on a baseboard. The device consists of two braced poles with a control mechanism below and moving arms at the top. The main arm rotates around an axis between the poles and has two blades at the ends, which rotate independently. The control mechanism moves entirely analogously to the arms, the movement of them is transferred with chains to the axles of the moving parts.
