About this work

Model of an iron floating beacon in the form of a small boat with a mast with a screen and a weather vane. The hull is round, provided with a keel and with a clear distinction between bow and stern; the top is closed and provided with a hatch and a pump, which is closed with a hexagonal screw cap. Hanging from the keel is a harp fitting for the anchor chain, which can be set in three different places. The mast is shrouded with a fore stay and two back stays, which are executed in full size in iron rods. The screen consists of three semi-circles, which are placed in the plane of the mast and the stays. The weather vane has a V-shaped cutout.
