Model of a Floating Beacon

Model of an iron floating beacon in the form of a small boat with a mast, a screen, and a weather vane; the bell is missing. The hull is sharply V-shaped, provided with a keel and a clear distinction between bow and stern; the top is closed and provided with a hatch and a pump, which is closed with a hexagonal screw cap. Hanging from the keel is a harp lock for the anchor chain, which can be set in three different places. The masts are shrouded with four stays, executed in full scale in iron rods, two forward and two aft. The screens consist of two semicircles, placed in the plane of the mast and the fore stays. The weather vanes have a V-shaped cutout, and the bell is fixed while the clapper strikes the bell by the movement of the buoy on the waves. The buoys have a slightly different hull shape.
