About this work
Pocket compass in a brass case, with a silvered brass base on which the points of the compass are engraved; the angle between North-West and North is divided into 5 degrees. On a raised rim at the level of the needle is a scale from 0° to 360°. The compass has a device to lock the needle. One end of the needle is blued.
