About this work
Waterline model of the external appearance of a stern on a baseboard with waves carved in relief. Rounded stern with a railing of two stories, elaborately decorated with trophies, mythological figures and foliage, and with a semi-circular gallery in the middle rear. The side gangway on the upper story, which runs around the gallery, is supported by tritons and volute-shaped knees. Above the railing the coat of arms of the Republic, below the gallery the hawsehole. Four decks are indicated by ports with gun muzzles. Two mast steps and two rudder posts.
