About this work
Hat of black glossy (lacquered?) paper over a cardboard core with oilcloth lining, with a straight cap and narrow, straight brim upturned on one side, so-called paper hat. Model: straight cap with loose brim, sewn to the cap with coarse stitches. The cardboard cap is lined with black-dyed oilcloth and pasted on the outside with black paper. The gray cardboard brim is also pasted with black paper. Under the upturned brim, an elongated piece of leather is sewn to the cap with coarse stitches.
