Sash worn by Roelofs, 2nd lieutenant of the Mobile Schutterij in 1830/32

About this work
Sash of faded orange cord silk, combination of sash M.1815 with tassels M.1860 (rare!), in the technique of Egyptian braiding. Label with the text: 2nd Lieutenant Roelofs, attached to the sash. On both sides, tassels of the same cord silk are attached with long fringes. At the bottom, stitched buttons from the ends of the sash can be seen.
