About this work

Flintlock pistol with iron bayonet, smooth, round bronze barrel interrupted by a profiled band and transitioning octagonally into the lock plate. Under the barrel two engraved coats of arms are visible in the form of two crossed swords under a crown. The sides of the lock plate are engraved with floral motifs; on the left side is the mark 'TAYLER&MANDER. The butt is of wood. Iron trigger guard engraved on the underside, iron trigger whose tip curves backwards.
