About this work

Metal cross with four arms which the upper one has an eye to which the ribbon is attached. On the cross in the middle is a crowned W which is surrounded by laurel leaves. On the other side of the cross a text in all arms, on the lower arm two laurel branches cross each other. In the upper arm is 'Trouw aan', the right arm 'Koning' and the left arm the text 'vaderland'. In the middle is '1830-1831' surrounded by two laurel branches. The ribbon is attached to a metal copper-colored ring. The ribbon itself is of textile and has purple and yellow radial bands.
