About this work
Military William Order Knight 4th Class on a blue/orange ribbon. The ribbon has two blue stripes on the outer sides on an originally orange ribbon that has faded to white. It is attached to a metal ring which is fixed to the decoration. The Military William Order consists of a Maltese cross with white-enamelled arms and iron ball points at the ends. Between the arms are green-enamelled leaves. The center of the decoration is missing. At the top is an iron crown attached to the upper arm. On the arms are the words MOED, BELEID, TROUW (Courage, Prudence, Loyalty).
